Stewart is a lazy young man, who doesn't seem to even have any goals. He chose his job at a store that sells musical instruments because his apartment in right above it. He lives with his sister because her semi-anal personality and motherly behavor means that when he gets in trouble she will always come and save him. Stewart is a simple being, he is perfectly happy with the events of his life repeating over and over again.

Wayne likes to do crazy things, however he never seems to ever get in trouble for it. He hangs out at the Jupollo's house a lot, even when they aren't there. Wayne will try anything, however he will stop doing it the second he can't get any more fun out of it. He is a good problem solver. He can get out of any predicament, all thought he problably manufactured the predicament, and conned Stewart in to doing it with him. And some how he doesn't get in trouble for it, but Stewart does. I wonder why they are friends?

Claire is the only member of the Just One Note cast, who can be considered a truly functioning member society. She has a crappy job as a "valued" employee of a small chain resturant, but is going to school in order to become a better person. She is rational and thinks before she acts there by not being the cause of most of the chaos in her life. That would be her brother Stewart. Somehow Claire is always the one who has to come save the day.

Kimberly works with Clairissa at Pears. She is the catalyst that changes Claire from helpful, to something more like Wayne or Stewart. Kimberly's own hatred for her job spills to her co-workers and helps keep Pears the mediocre sit-down resturantit is today.

The cast members of Just One Note are all so self centered that anyone who doesn't beneift them are considered Nobodies. The Nobodies aren't anyone special, they fill backdrops, or exist in one or two strip tops as people who move the story along.They have no distinguishing characteristics that make them that identifies them as a specific character. They are just what their name implies.
